- This subject covers topics relating to the interaction between the organizations and their environment, with special emphasis on regional and EU environment.Also, this subject helps the students to understand the context in which the business organizations are functioning.
- Management of Information Technology
- The primary purpose of this module is to expand knowledge and skills in the use of IT in managing and analyzing data in order to improve the quality of decision-making in a dynamic business environment.
- Business Communication
- The main focus of this area of study is the role of the manager in the effective use of Information and Communication methods in “from voice to text messages.”Students also learn how to organize meetings where everyone will give their best.
- Statistics in Business
- The subject develops students’ ability to cope with the numerical and quantitative problems that arise in business.They will be able to use statistical, graphical and algebraic techniques to approach these problems with adequate IT software, wherever relevant. A precise estimation of the numerical results with or without the use of IT, enables efficient business decisions.
- Business Management
- This subject covers the management of their own skills, and personal development in order to achieve the purpose of personal progress and successful career.The development of effective working relationships that allow business people to cope with different situations, including conflict here is also very important area of study of this subject.
- Business Accounting
- This part of the course covers the planning, management and analysis of the use of physical and financial resources in the relevant business activities.The supply with timely information to those who make the decisions, in order to have easier and more efficient planning of resources, it is the focus of this subject.
Second year
- Strategic Management
- The curriculum in this area is related to the allocation and assessment of the individual and team performance, and their relation to the achievement of previously set organizational goals.Managing remote employees and discussing issues arising from the work performances of a team in an organization are also included in the program of study.
- Managerial Accounting
- Students gain knowledge how to manage finances in the business environment.Management of working capital in the business, and budget control techniques and costs are also focal points of this subject. Apart from these, some statistical techniques are also studied, which are put in the function of the financial analysis.
- Human Resource Management (HR)
- This subject is linked with the identification, planning, implementation, realization, assessment and receiving feedback for the development of the team/ individual, in order to have continuous improvement of overall work performance.
- Marketing
- The need the customers to be put in the focus of the company, identifying the requirements of investors and planning how it needs to be synchronized with the organizational limits are a key part of the studies of this subject.E-commerce and the implications it has on the process of managing also occupies an important part of the subject.
- Company Law
- Students are taught how EU membership affects the economic policy of the UK government, the principles of the Macedonian legal system concerning the company law, as well as trade between the member states and trade opportunities for the British companies in the EU, and the ways in which it can be evaluated.
- Financial Management
- The preparation of financial analysis for different types of business organizations, and making appropriate changes in these analyzes is one of the areas that are covered in this subject.Students also study the detailed legal and regulatory provisions that apply to financial audits and ways of implementation of the relevant accounting principles. The basic principles of preparing group audit reports are also included in the program of the subject. After completing the curriculum, the students are prepared for making financial reports for different business organizations.
Third year
- Computer Network
- This is the initial module in the network architecture of computers.It deals with the function of the communication protocol for each level. Examples of long-haul, local area network and high speed networks are studied in designing and implementation of computer networks, protocols and network applications.
- Risk Management
- The purpose of this module is a better understanding of risk and showing how risk is an integral part of business.Through discussions and case studies will be covered the main components of the process of risk management: risk identification, analysis and approach to risk, response to risk, preventive planning and placement of reserves for contingencies. Special attention is given to planning for risk reduction which will prepare the future managers for potential emergencies in finance, marketing, technical and human resources and public relations.
- Corporate Finance
- The module begins with principles of finance and continues going into topics such as leasing, mergersand multinational Financial theories are used in investment instruments, including stocks, bonds, options and future markets. Capital budgeting price of capital, estimates, and risk are studied too, the estimates and risk are processed through advanced analysis.
- Leadership and Ethics
- The focus of the module is explanation of the differences between management and leadership through research on different models of leadership and integration of the Judeo-Christian ethical principles in various functional topics.
- Organizational Psychology
- This module involves introduction to psychology and organizational behavior.Through a combination of theories, case studies and other direct approaches to learning, has the same explanation of behavior in organizational environment and the study of psychological models. Key topics include effective communication, motivation, leadership, conflict, human resources and dealing with stress in the workplace.
- Business Ethics
- The main purpose of this module is to expose students to the many ethical issues that circulate through today’s business environment.The subject also introduces the students with ethics in a broader sense. Ideally, the students focus on self-improvement, and improving the quality of life.
- Computer Applications
- Theoretically, applied and organizational issues for large, complex databases in management systems, including physical design of databases, forecasting of architecture, new technologies and advanced applications.
- International Finance
- In this module is presented the basis of the international finance as a concentrated and integrated experience, focusing on policies and business applications, as well as covering the theoretical frameworks.This module is designed to challenge students to think about the exchange of goods, services and financial capital in a methodical and structured way. The subject matter offers knowledge to better understand how differences between countries offer opportunities for national growth, development and cooperation, but also lead to economic (and political) conflict.
- Operation Management and Logistics
- The module focuses on the way the company covers the demand with supply.Students will learn how to reach the optimal level of flexibility of supply for a given industry and to explore strategies for increasing it. The materials cover the basics of supply chain management, economics of supply and demand, market environment and consumer psychology, logistics supply management, supply chain management as a competitive advantage and future trends in supply chain
- Perception and Quality Management
- This module enables advanced studying of the historical evolution of management, with special emphasis on TQM (Total Quality Management). The student is prepared in application of managerial theories of practical problems in planning, organization and control of business activities. The module provides students with the knowledge and skills required in today’s competitive business environment.
